Adding logos for your shipment and payment methods in VirtueMart is extremely easy and is done in 2 quick steps:
1. Uploading the logos for your shipment and payment methods in the correct folders
The logos must be placed in the following folders:
- …/images/stories/virtuemart/shipment for the shipment methods logos
- …/images/stories/virtuemart/payment for the payment methods logos
The logos can be uploaded also via the Joomla media manager:
For Joomla 1.5 select Site on the menu bar and then Media Manager from the list.
For Joomla 2.5 go in Content and choose Media Manager from the list.
You will see a list of folders and images that are already located in the Media manager.
- Select the folder stories -> virtuemart and then the payment or shipment folder
- Go to the Upload files area and click on Choose Files
- Select the logo image from your computer’s files
- Click Start upload
The file will be transferred to the selected folder.
2. Selecting a logo for payments and shipments
- Go to Components -> VirtueMart administration
- Select the Shop menu on the left sidebar
- Select the Shipment methods sub-menu or the Payment methods sub-menu
- Select the payment or shipment method you wish to add a logo for
- Open the Configuration tab
- In the logo parameter all images that are in the …/images/stories/virtuemart/payment for a payment method or …/images/stories/virtuemart/shipment for a shipment are listed. Select the one you want to display.
