How to set up POP/IMAP in Outlook for MAC Users?

As we are all about freedoms, we understand that MAC users might not all like or prefer using MAC Mail. Knowing that Outlook is recognized as one of the most popular mail clients, here are the useful steps on how to use it through your MAC computer:

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook;
  2. Click on Add Account (or go to Tools -> Accounts if you are already using it);
  3. Enter your full email address and password;
  4. Fill in the required details:
    • Username: Full email address
    • Type: Choose POP3 or IMAP depending of your choice
    • Incoming Server:
    • Outgoing Server:;
  5. When adding if you receive an Authentication Failed message. Click No to ignore it.
    • Go to More Options on the bottom of the screen
    • Select Use Incoming Server info as the authentication and click OK
